Food is GREAT loved the bacon egg & cheese, everything bagel with cream cheese and steak and cheese. Food didn't have me bloated and felt great after eating the food. Ordering online is quick and easy with great service.
Exactly what you would expect from your local deli. I've tried both breakfast and lunch here when visiting the area and have been pleased with good food and service on both occasions. They serve the food to your table when it's ready. The location has a good sized seating area both inside and outside, but don't expect to bring a large group here.
Food is awesome, the service is very good, and the ambience is ok but the food and the service makes up for that. I've been going here for the last 16 yrs, and would recommend anything on the menu.
At Deli South I got me a sub. It was really good and tasted very fresh. I will definitely be going again. The service was great. This place is great for lunch and going out with friends or if you want something fast.
Look this is NOVA - you're just not getting NY level deli here. Is Deli South the jewel in the crown of delis? No it isn't, but it has something that is hard to find around here, consistent decent food and great service. The food is good, not epic, not drive 2 hours out of your way amazing- but it's good. Breakfast sandwiches are always great and I've eaten lunch a few times and that was good. It's clean, the people are nice and there is more than ample seating. I recommend it.
This place is great! We built our own sandwich of focaccia, turkey, bacon and havarti cheese...it was huge and tasted fantastic! Added this sandwich to my top 10 favorites. Check it out!
When I noticed that Deli South had Corned Beef Hash on the menu - I knew that further investigation was required. Turns out it is a scratch-made Corned Beef Hash. Ordered that with two eggs over easy and Rye toast. Paid with Apple Pay. They give you a number to place on your table and then they bring the food to your table. The corned beef was chopped on the small side - which IMO makes for better "hash." There were some potatoes mixed in. Overall, very tasty. Rye toast comes unbuttered - I should request they pre-butter the toast - by the time it gets out to you - the toast has cooled off and it's harder to spread the butter. Lots of seating inside - there are also a few tables outside. Service was good! I will be back to try out the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito! #DeliSouth
Tried the Veggie Melt and it was pretty good. Value was good. It had sprouts which normally I wouldn't put with a hot sandwich. Also got a large bag of chips which is probably a good option if your sharing. Chips were good as kettle BBQ. Service was good. Nice seating area. Veggie options are OK, not sure if I'd come back or eat there that often b/c the execution was good but not like amazing. So typically there are restaurants with veggie options and there are restaurants that try to create something special for vegetarians that's not blah. This is the former.
